We have a windy location and one of our umbrellas with the 50lb base alone tipped over when a breeze kicked up. Since we have installed the additional weight we have had no problems. Highly recommend.

These showed up in bronze or grey arbitrarily and were very difficult to thread into the base. My husband and I are quite fit and this frustrated us endlessly. Please improve quality!

When the items were delivered, the boxes were badly beaten up, with the base actually hanging out of the bottom of the box on my driveway. I was worried that the items had been damaged, but when I took them out of the packaging they were fine. The products are very sturdy and keep my 9' umbrella from moving/falling. Time will tell how well they hold up and if they rust, but for now they look and work great!

This additional 30 pound weight was shipped quickly and easily screwed into the existing bottom base. The addition made a noticeable difference as the umbrella is much more resistant to tipping now. Well worth it!
